Giving books to children in need is our #1 priority

Not all of the books we collect are new. Gently used books are included in every bundle. We are looking for age-appropriate books for elementary school reading levels (grades K-6):
• Comic books (For monthlies, 3 comic books = 1 book)
• Science activity books
• Sports books
• Unused Mad Libs
• Poetry for kids
• How to Draw for kids
• Field Guides
• Cookbooks for kids
• Chapter books in Spanish
• Picture books in Spanish

Here are some guidelines to what we see as an acceptable used book appropriate for gifting:

• Cover on and all pages still secure to the binding
• No rips, tears, bend edges
• No browning pages, mold, smells or water/food damage
• (Preferred) No names or writing

Host a Book Drive

Let others know we are looking for donations of new/gently used early chapter books at your office, church or organizations. No matter the size of the donation, either one book or ten, every single donation is always appreciated. It truly adds up to make a big difference in stretching our donation funds even further. Create a Mini-Campaign with a Commitment of 10 Books

Are you as passionate about reading as we are? Consider making a commitment of collecting 10 new/gently used books for donation within your circle of family and friends. We have a feeling you will be very surprised how easy it is to share the joy of reading with others.
